Our office was founded by Dr. Callan Martin DC in November 2019 and brings his experience and training at other high-performance clinics and institutions to the Overland Park and Kansas City Area.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of Back On Track Chiropractic + Acupuncture is to help patients move better, feel better and live better lives. Excellent patient care is the cornerstone of our mission. That starts with listening to your story, performing a holistic exam and discovering the root cause of your problem. Once the problem is found we determine the best treatment to deliver at the right time to get the best results.

We do not discriminate the patients we serve. We believe people are equal in our needs of healthcare and should have equal access. All of our patients receive the same in-depth first-day exam that helps determine if we are the right provider and what the best form of treatment is. If your condition requires additional imaging or care outside of our office, we will help get you to the right place.

Our office offers a variety of treatment options and we strive to choose the right treatment for your individual needs.

Your care doesn’t end with the treatment you receive from the doctor, we believe that conservative care, education and a focus on prevention, are necessary to achieve the best result.

We look forward to working with you to achieve your health goals.

Dr. Callan Martin, DC, CCSP®, CSCS

Dr. Callan Martin has practiced full-time since earning his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Logan University in 2010. He has served the Kansas City metro area since 2013. While at Logan, he earned several post-graduate certifications including over 200 hours of acupuncture training. He worked with many high-school, college and professional athletes while at the prestigious Biofreeze Rehabilitation Clinic at Logan University.

After graduation, he practiced on the East Coast in Virginia and earned his Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. He volunteered as the strength and conditioning coach at a local high school for a few years before returning to the Midwest.

In 2013, he began training and became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®) through the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians ABCSP. He is also Graston Technique and RockTape FMT certified. Dr. Martin has trained in many chiropractic, acupuncture and sports medicine techniques. Every patient receives some stretching or myofascial release work to further support the chiropractic adjustment. He is a member of the ICPA and certified in the Webster Technique, developed at his alma mater, Logan College of Chiropractic (University).

He has been a lifelong chiropractic patient and credits chiropractic care for his durability and recovery while playing high school athletics, college rugby and powerlifting. During college he became interested in nutrition and with the guidance of a local chiropractor and hard work, he was able to lose over 130 pounds of excess body weight.

When not practicing, he enjoys spending time with his wife, twin daughters, and pets. He is active in community organizations and regularly attends continuing education to further advance his clinical skills.
